• Loyiso Damoyi

    Loyiso Damoyi is 29 years old and is a coordinator at Africa Jam Theatre Company. He is from Khayelitsha and attended Luhlaza High.

  • Immanuel Ntsamba

    Emmanuel Nkosipendule “Mpempe” Ntsamba was born on the 27 of April in 1990. He has been part of the Africa Jam Organisation for the past 10 years, doing community theatre and outreach programs. In his theatre background he worked with Loyiso Damoyi in a production called UHLAZO which won the first Zabalaza festival and had a successful run at Baxter Theatre. He then worked with Thami Mbongo in a musical show UNBORN, working alongside with Thumeka Mzayiya, Mandisi Sindo and Anele Kose. After that he worked with mama Thoko Ntshinga on a show tittled “Bashed or be bashed” then came to Magnet Theatre and did his full time training in Physical Theatre for 2 years under the supervision of Jennie Reznek and Mark Fleishman. He has worked with Thando Doni, Zwelakhe Khuse, Mandla Mbothwe. Right now he is currently a third year trainee at Magnet Theatre.

  • Meagan Booysen

    Meagan Booysen is  a 21 year old performer, creator and hopefully someday a creator of dreams. She is currently a 3rd year student at Magnet Theatre. She worked in the past with different community works such as the Cape Town Carnival, Fringe festival. She belonged to a community Theatre called BTC- Bridgetown Theatre Company, and has  danced with the Eoan group. During high school she performed with Hip Hop Indaba and the Rock challenge. She is currently a 3rd year trainee at Magnet Theatre.

  • Beviol Swartz

    Beviol Swarts is 20 years old and is from Eesteriver. She matriculated in 2013 from Eesteriver Arts and Culture Focus School. In 2014 she started at Magnet Theatre, trained there for 2 years and graduated at the end of 2015. She applied for the third year at Magnet Theatre that she is part of now.

  • Tina Hashe

    Tina Hashe is a 19 year old Khayelitsha who attended Chris Hani High. She was involved in Uthandolwe Kamvalethu Arts Organization.

  • Mfundo Zono

    Mfundo Zono is 30 years old and grew up in Port Elizabeth. He attended Ncedo Senior Secondary School and used to be a member of Megenge Productions.

  • Kay Smith

    Kay Smith is from Garden Village, Cape Town. She is 22 years old and matriculated from Durbanville High School. Previously she received drama training from Henry Mylne.

  • Luthando Mvandaba

    Luthando Mvandaba was born in Cape Town in 1990 but originated from the Eastern Cape where his parents come from. In 1989 he went to Nkazimulo Primary School and in 2006 he started his High School at Chris Hani Arts and Culture Focus School. After he finished his matric, he joined a community group called Buyelekhaya Traditional Dancers, Performing around Cape Town and out side and during the world cup season. In 2011 he went to Grahamstown with a production called Ibhekile Evuzayo (Leaking Calabash). In 2014 and 2015 he was part of the training at Magnet Theatre and is now doing a third year at Magnet Theatre.

  • Athenkosi Mfamela

    Athenkosi Mfamela is 20 years old from Nyanga East. He matriculated from Zonnebloem Nest Senior Secondary School and is a former member of New Born Theatre Productions.

  • Thando Suselo

    Thando Suselo matriculated from Joe Slovo High. He is 22 years old and lives in Khayelitsha a former member of Uthandolwe Kamvalethu Arts Organization.

  • Willmare Meloy

    Willmare Meloy is 19 years old and lives in Kuilsriver. She attended Eersteriver Secondary.

  • Lwando Magwaca

    Lwando Magwaca is from Nyanga East. He is currently doing a third year at Magnet Theatre. He runs an arts project called Tales Of Chronicles, which deals with African Indigenous poerty, for the past 8 years. He also leads a Christian Movement called Anointed Youth Movement that is based on empowering and equipping youth from different backgrounds for the past 6 years. He is a co-founder of Nyanga Yethu Project that runs a gang-intervention project, through arts and performances, for the past 6 years. He is currently running a new project called Thethani – a debating project that stimulates cognitive discussions that excavates leaders, motivational speakers and public talks that inform community and help build role models.

  • Zimkhita Mzimba

    Zimkhita Mzimba is 19 years old and is from Khayelitsha. She matriculated from Chris Hani Secondary and was part of Ubuhlanti Theatre.

  • Ayanda Haas

    Ayanda Haas is 28 years old. He is from Dunoon and matriculated from Ekuphumleni Secondary a former member of Black Ink Arts Movement theatre group.

  • Ferdinand Williams

    Ferdinand Williams is 23 years old and attended Kuilsriver Technical High. He lives in Kuilsriver and before Magnet Theatre, he worked with C-Kruis Performing Ministries in Pretoria.

  • Zolisa Nkonyaya

    Zolisa Nkonyaya is 20 years old and matriculated from Chris Hani Secondary. He is from Makhaza and was involved with Ubuhlanti Theatre Productions.

  • Zizipho Quluba

    Zizipho Quluba is 20 years old. She was born 8 of July, 1994 in the Eastern Cape at Umtata and now lives in Gugulethu, NY3A. She is a third year trainee at Magnet Theatre.  She matriculated in 2013 from Wynberg High School Arts Focus School. Her goal is to mentor youth and give back what she have learnt these past years.

  • Anne Bosch

    Anne Bosch is from Kenwyn, in the Southern Suburbs. She is 23 years old and matriculated from Sans Souci Girls High School and also attended Abbotts College.

  • Livie Ncanywa

    Livie Ncanywa is 21 years old, from Nyanga East and matriculated from Zonnebloem Nest High School. Previously he was involved with New Born Theatre, in Nyanga.
