Nolwazi Mbutho

Nolwazi Mbutho is a multi-talented artist who thrives as a dancer, storyteller, musician, and model. She is from the Eastern Cape, eGcuwa, and KwaZulu-Natal, KwaNongoma, and was born in Johannesburg.

Currently based in Philippi, she began her dance training in 2012 at iThemba Labantu Lutheran Church. In 2020, she studied physical theatre at Philippi Arts Centre. She then performed a piece called Beyond as part of an Indoni Academy outreach in collaboration with Jazzart. Additionally, she studied music at R.A.O. and trained in dance at Sbonelo Dance Project.

Nolwazi is currently at Magnet Theatre and is dedicated to healing the world through storytelling.
